Sunday 4 November 2012 Mallacoota to Willow Park, Rosedale 269km

We took our time this morning, we were in no hurry to get on the road, we only had a short trip to our overnight stay at Rosedale.

It was an easy trip, with a short stop at Orbost , for morning tea at the local bakery and then again at Sale for fuel.

We arrived at the Willow Park Free Camp area, about 1km north of Rosedale at about 1pm. We weren’t the first to get here and definitely not the last. We had a relaxing afternoon sitting under the willow trees next to our van reading our Kindles.  I had a very brief walk around, had a look at the muddy river, the bridge, an “Historic” display of 2 handrails from the original 1930’s bridge (how cultured am I!!) and a local info sign, that took all of 15mins.

By the time we settled in for the night there were about 8 to 10 others here, I think there were 3 here at 1pm.

Tomorrow we have something over 300km to Daylesford and our final 3 nights of holiday before we leave for home.
