Tuesday 6th November 2012 Daylesford

Hope your horse won, ours didn’t but we enjoyed watching the race.

I had a wonderful day today.    A week or so ago, Greg kept insisting that I book in to have a massage in Daylesford, as it is the spa capital of Australia.   Found one I liked the look of on Trip Advisor.    So I spent a most relaxing couple of hours at Renewal Massage, had a foot treatment, massage and facial, it felt very indulgent and I enjoyed every minute.  🙂

We had nothing in the van for lunch, so I found Larder (also on Trip Advisor), what a great place, we shared a platter and talked about coming back tomorrow for lunch.    Afterwards we wandered and  checked out a few more shops.    I love it here, really should come more often, it is only 7 hours from home.   It has so much character, there are so many old buildings in town that have been well looked after, many great shops and good places to eat and I have never seen so many places you can have a massage – heaven!!  🙂

We had another lazy afternoon, watched the Melbourne Cup and Greg even had a 30 minute sleep – now that doesn’t happen very often!!

For dinner we went to Kazuki’s (yes found that on Trip Advisor too – I have never been disappointed by any accommodation, or restaurant I have found using Trip Advisor and we have used it all over the world – no I am not paid by them!!)

Dinner was fabulous, a blend of French and Japanese, we really enjoyed ourselves.
