Africa Day 7 Livingstone and Victoria Falls, and much, much more. 13 July 201
I bet you were all expecting the “Once upon a time ……” version with that headline, sorry, but its been a very busy day, so tonight it’s the “and they lived happily ever after.” version. (Sorry Ben 🙂 )
We left Sussi & Chuma at 8:30am for a tour of the Zambian side of Victoria Falls, it was amazing so much history , so many waterfalls and sooooo much mist.
After our tour we were driven to the border and crossed over the Livingstone Bridge into Zimbabwe where we did another tour of Victoria Falls from that side. There are so many more viewing points and places to get drenched on the Zimbabwe side. Magnificent views, amazing power and many rainbows.
We left Zimbabwe around 2:20pm and headed back to Camp for lunch.
In the afternoon we went on a Game Drive through the National Park Sussi & Chumi sits in. So many animals, and a special viewing of the White Rhinoceros.
We drove back to camp on sunset and had a couple of spectacular sightings on the way.
After predinner drinks around the fireplace and a chat with the Sanctuary Manager, we had dinner. It was finished off by a never to be forgotten surprise. (All I can say is eat your heart out Billy Joel 🙂 )
I will have much more time tomorrow to give you all the “Once apon a time ……” version, so stay tuned and call back tomorrow, lots of amazing experiences to share.

Hello to both of you. Love your blog and learning about Africa. Your photos that you posted on FB are great as usual. Our Alaska adventure has sadly come to an end.
Its sad when an adventure ends, but it just means you have to start planning the next. Looked like you had a great time.
Looks like you had fun in Alaska Georgiana, won’t be long before you are off on another ??
Ben hope you like the lastest, once upon a time ?
