And so our adventure draws to a close, it has been an amazing holiday.
We both struggled to sleep much last night, but we eventually got a few hours. We had a late breakfast and then packed our bags for the last time this trip.
We were picked up from the hotel at around 10:45am and settled into the lounge at the airport by 11:30am, it’s going to be a long commute home.
Our flight left a little behind time at 2:15pm, the flight wasn’t full. Our next stop was Dubai.
We arrived in Dubai at 12:35am and after going through 2 lots of security and a quick visit to the lounge we were back on our plane for the flight home at 1:30am. We were told the flight home should be a little quicker than normal, about 12hrs. In the air at 2:20am, time for the long haul.
We landed at 7:55pm and were through immigration, customs and in a car on the way home by 8:20pm. We arrived home at about 8:35pm.
And now to get back into a normal routine!
