Spain Day 12. Granada to Mallorca 6 Oct 25

We checked out of our hotel and were in our transfer to the airport at 9:15. It too about 25 mins to get to the airport and then we had to wait. The check in counters didn’t open until 10:45.
There was a huge line at check in, our tickets said “Priority” so we cheekily used the Premium check in lane that was empty. It worked, we got through no problem. The person at the counter said, ” That’s your boarding pass!” Then checked our luggage in with a smile and we smiled back.
Going through security I got taken aside and swiped for explosives, must be stereotyping on the beard and hair! Lol
Boarding at 12:05 for our 12:45 flight. We got away more or less on time for our hour long flight with Vueling Airlines. We had the window and aisle seats and an empty seat between us, always a win. Thank you Jenni.
Landed at 1:48pm and checked in at our hotel by 3pm.
Our room is comfortable and has a view out over Palma Bay. We have a great view of the world’s largest aircraft carrier, the USS Gerald R. Ford, that is anchored just out from our hotel in the Bay of Palma. It has been here for a few days and sails out on 8 October. There are so many planes on its deck!
We went for dinner at Anima Beach, and watched the Allure of the Seas cruise ship leave port, it’s a big boat!
After dinner we watched the sun go down over Mallorca and the near full moon begin to rise. A nice relaxing way to finish our day.
