Looks like we are ready 🙂

We meet Georgie and John on March 2 in Christchurch

We left Daylesford at around 7:30am and got home at a little after 3pm.

Besides our GPS wanting to have us go home via McLaren Vale (it must know we like a drop or 2 of wine) the trip was easy.  Deb thinks Daylesford is so close we should visit it more often. 🙂 Continue reading →

For some reason, because we weren’t in any particular hurry to get away this morning, we were both up by 6:45am and we were on the road around 7:30 for Daylesford.

It was another uneventful trip, which is a good thing in so many ways! I can’t get over how beautiful the Gippsland country side is, rolling green hills and a mixture of sheep/dairy farming and forests.  Continue reading →

We took our time this morning, we were in no hurry to get on the road, we only had a short trip to our overnight stay at Rosedale.

It was an easy trip, with a short stop at Orbost , for morning tea at the local bakery and then again at Sale for fuel. Continue reading →

We were up and about at about 8:30 this morning to the local Market at the Mud Brick Pavilion. It looked like 8:30 was more set up time than opening time for the market. But the fresh produce there looked great. Continue reading →

We woke this morning to find the weather hadn’t improved all that much from yesterday afternoon, although I guess the rain had stopped and the wind wasn’t as strong.

For some reason we were both awake early this morning and so we decided to take a walk while everything was still and no one much was around, and before the bad weather arrives

We had a slow start to the day, out and about by 8am. First order of the day was domestic duties, yes they still have to be done on holiday, so off to the laundry we went, hoping to beat the crowds and got all our laundry on the line by 9am.

I planned to set off fishing this morning in the kayak and Deb was going to have a relaxing morning around the van park. Continue reading →
