Today we headed out at about 9am to go to Sovereign Hill in Ballarat. After a 1 ½ hr drive we arrived in Ballarat and made our way towards the Eureka Centre and Sovereign Hill. However, first stop was a bakery for morning tea, :-), then onto the Eureka Centre. Continue reading

Number of Views :6030It is 5am, little bit excited 🙂 in another 2 hours we will be on the road heading towards the Grampians. We hope to be there by 12.30pm, will set up camp, collect firewood, maybe do a Geocache and this evening we are going to do a walk near the visitors centre and hopefully see some wildlife. Sounds like Dante is awake, yes 🙂 he is looking forward to going to Ballarat on Wednesday and some hiking. The car is all packed now we just need Greg and Tessa to wake up and we will be off on another adventure!
Number of Views :5025We are off to the Grampians with Dante and Tessa in two weeks, staying at Halls Gap Caravan Park. Its going to be lots of fun introducing them to the park that their Dad was taken to by his Nan and Pop back when he was their age. We hope to make a trip into Ballarat and Sovereign Hill while we are over there.
