We got off to a slow start today. Left the hotel at 9:20 and headed off for a bit of exploring. First stop was the Botanic Gardens and a ride on the Wellington Cable Car. Number of Views :3571

Our day really got going at 7:30am, we hit the road to Picton, 148 km away to catch the 10:30 Interislander Ferry. We had to be there 1 hour before sailing time. Number of Views :3470

After a wonderful stay in Queenstown, it was time to head out this morning to Fox Glacier. We were all packed up and on the road around 8am.   The roads are very windy Number of Views :2776

We got away from Invercargill at 8am, Oooops free. We had a very smooth easy drive north up into the southern alps and Queenstown, arriving at about 10:30. Number of Views :4158
