Hello 🙂 I managed to stay asleep until 5.30am this morning, I was very happy with that. We went to the CP Laundry at 7.30am only to find all 5 washing machines working away. You have to be early in Caravan Parks to do your washing. We had a bit to do. Fortunately we managed to get it all on the line.
At 9.30am we headed up to the post office in Agnes Water, we needed to print a document. We were directed to the library to do this, while we were there we hooked up to their internet and downloaded our apps! No icecream here 🙂 Libraries have changed a lot in 40 years, the two librarians that were there, spoke really loudly and were joking and laughing. Nothing at all like the librarians of my school years!
While we were out we did a bit of ingress and some shopping. Greg needed some new thongs, the ones he was wearing had a hole in them near the ball of his foot where he had worn through the thong and they were generally in a bad state of repair. He had been looking for some for a while, (he is rather particular about his thongs) he had some luck today 🙂 The old thongs didn’t make it to the bin though, they are in the van in case these new ones break 🙂
We headed back to the van for lunch. A few hours later we decided to go back to the library and take our tablets to update the apps on them. The internet connection at the library was the best we have had while we have been away, was good to get everything up to date, it didn’t take long. When I had finished I decided to download a few more podcasts, when I had nearly finished I must have pressed a button and one started playing. Unfortunately the sound was on very loud and this voice was warning, “the content of this podcast is for adults only”, it seemed like they were saying it over and over again really loudly. I just couldn’t find out how to stop the podcast or turn the sound off. It seemed to go on for minutes to me, but I am sure it was only a few seconds! By the time I turned the volume off we were in hysterics!
After getting back to the van, it was cider/beer o’clock. We sat outside the van and soaked up the beautiful afternoon. A bit later we completed the Census online, didn’t take very long.
There was another lovely sunset tonight that also lasted an hour. They last much longer up north because the earth is flatter up here than at home! Well that’s Greg’s theory anyway! 🙂
After tea we packed up a bit, ready for an early start in the morning. We are off to Noosa for 4 nights.
I am getting accustomed to this chilled lifestyle, it agrees with me 🙂

Hillarious, we were at one caravan park & only 1 machine was operational & the queue to do washing was sooo long, we hand washed what we needed & had breaky, the queue for 1 washing machine lasted for ages! Understand what you mean about thongs getting too thin, glad you sorted it?
It’s a tad cold here, hope your warm xoxo
It is low 20’s no humidity ? Warmer than home
I can just imagine you being mortified not being able to turn the sound off as well as doubled over laughing your head off 🙂
