We got away at 8:30am and had an easy drive. We drove by
Humpty Do and onto our first stop for the day, The Window on the Wetlands. It is an interpretive centre on the wetlands of Kakadu. It has lots of information and displays. Continue reading

14 August 2011 Litchfield to Darwin
We left Litchfield at about 8:30am and had only about an hour to Darwin, the earliest we could check-in at the Caravan Park was 12 noon, so we had a bit of time to fill in.
On the way out to the highway we noticed that Batchelor had a Saturday market, so we took the turn off and found the market. As luck would have it, there was also a (your favourite spot and mine) dump point right near the market. Continue reading
