6 August 2020  Life goes on but not as we would like.

Victoria has gone nuts with Covid-19, all States have shut their borders to varying degrees to the Covid infested state.

SA has basically shut our borders to all states except Tasmania and WA, but neither of them is letting anyone in.

Queensland has effectively shut its border to NSW, requiring anyone entering from NSW to quarantine for 14 days at their own expense in designated hotels.

Our Port Douglas holiday is laying in ruins around us. So we have cancelled it and are now having a couple of trips away in SA.

We have 5 days in Victor Harbor and a couple of nights booked in the hills. There is a fairly high probability we will be able to do these 2, no flights and no cross-state borders to contend with.

My continuing monthly blog on the Coronavirus/Covid-19 Pandemic is posted at the start of each month, the latest edition can be found here. https://gregndeb.com/zero-hr-covid-19/7-july-2020-covid-19-complacency-is-our-greatest-danger/

It seems as the longer we go into this the more I am starting to focus on the numbers, and they are scary. I hope that soon they will start to show some hope, but without a vaccine I am really not too optimistic.

I am sure there are brighter times ahead, but they just seem to be getting further out.
