Happy 26^th birthday to Thomas  🙂

We are definitely getting ready to be home, both of us awake around 7, what’s with that!! 🙂

We had a very relaxing day, the most strenuous thing was cleaning the awning, ready for putting the van back in storage. Deb cleaned the inside and I did the outside. While it dried we took a walk down the beach to do a Geocache (http://www.geocaching.com ).  An easy find just in the “dunes” next to the beach.  By the time we got back the awning was dry and we rolled it away. We must be getting closer to home, we were both awake by 7am!!  But we managed a slow start to the day. The weather for the day started with wind and patchy clouds, but it soon cleared up and we had a warm blue sun-shiny day. Continue reading →

Our last full day here got off to an early start, we woke at 7 and 8am respectively, yes I was last one up.  🙂

After fluffing around for a while I was out fishing at about 10, and Deb stayed in the van glued to her paper and book. Continue reading →

We got up a little before 9am this morning, yes we are in holiday mode. 🙂

We took it very easy this morning, I took Aiko for a walk up to the main jetty and back, and that was as active as we got.  🙂  The weather is still overcast, windy  and it’s a little cool. Continue reading →

We woke around 8:30am, we are getting really good at this late start thing. 🙂

After we finally got going for the day, I went out and washed the car. There are some bad points to remember when asking for a site with shade, this normally involves trees, and here that means LOTS of birds (parrots and galahs) sitting in trees doing what birds do! Continue reading →
